Can You Keep Up?

July 12th, 2009 | admin | No Comments#comments">No Comments Yet

We’ve had quite a few new readers stopping by of late, so this is just a quick post to orient everyone to the site.  Here are the seven things you can do here:

  1. Subscribe to the paid newsletters. Aside from the monthly performance reviews that we post, we keep pretty quiet about the paid newsletters on this free blog (because advertising and self-promotion are basically evil, and it’s debatable whether they’re a necessary evil). But even so, it is the support of our intelligent and lovely Condor Options and Calendar Options subscribers that makes this free blog possible. If you’re chicken, you can always try us out for a month.
  2. Get our free newsletter. I’ve written a series of meaty and helpful articles for traders who are new to iron condors and to options trading, and the only way to get those articles is to sign up for them. The big green box in the column to the right will let you do that.
  3. Get the blog posts by email. If you’re still manually stopping by the site whenever you think of it, you’re working way too hard.
  4. Or, get the blog posts in your RSS reader. If you don’t know what RSS is: it is a method for alerting you whenever a blog or site you like is updated, saving you the trouble of manually checking for new content. It allows you to follow and get updated on hundreds of different sites in the same amount of time it might otherwise take you to manually visit only a few of them.
  5. Follow us on Twitter. I regularly post market commentary, trade ideas, and links of interest on the Condor Options Twitter feed. There’s no telling whether Twitter will already be passé a year from now, so hurry.
  6. Share our fantastic blog posts. The ShareThis button at the end of each post allows you to email, text, or social-network-ize individual blog posts. So if you read a post and think we’re completely wrong and clueless, you should probably share that with as many people as you can.
  7. Say hello. Our contact form sends an email to a real human, and sometimes we care what you think.
